Singapore – Shenise Wong
Shenise Wong, 26, 1.73 m-tall, is the new Miss Singapore Universe. She edged out Malvina Kang, 1st runner-up, and Gayati Shunmugam, 2nd runner-up, to walk away with the crown.
Shenise is a pageant veteran who has already participated in Miss Asia Pacific (1999), Miss International (2002) and Miss World (2005). In July she will represent her country at Miss Universe 2008.
Miss Universe 2008, the 57th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008.
